Teron Lighting was founded in 1979. For over four decades it served the commercial lighting market the old-fashioned way — by showing up, knowing the product, and delivering on its word. Contractors trusted it. Specifiers relied on it. Reps carried it because it was worth carrying.
Then the company changed hands. Financial ownership replaced operational ownership. The people who understood lighting were replaced by people who understood spreadsheets. And slowly — then all at once — Teron went dark.
It didn’t have to end that way. The product line was strong. The customer relationships were real. The institutional knowledge still existed — held by the people who built it. All it needed was operators willing to do the unglamorous work of putting it back together.
The answer came from an unlikely place: two companies — KB Lighting and TechBrite — that had spent decades operating in the same commercial lighting market. Between them, over a century of combined industry experience. They knew each other. They respected each other. And when Teron went into bankruptcy in 2026, they looked at each other and saw the same thing: an opportunity to stop competing over a smaller pie and start building something bigger.

Unlikely Partner One KB Lighting Founded in 1946. Nearly eight decades of commercial lighting manufacturing, customer relationships, and hard-won operational knowledge. KB is not a company that found its footing — it is an institution in this industry. |
Unlikely Partner Two TechBrite In the commercial lighting business since the 1980s — 40 years of product development, supplier relationships, and operational depth. Brett and Dave have led TechBrite for 17 of those years. The knowledge base runs much deeper than either of them. |

Together they formed Triple B Lighting & Holdings, LLC — and brought Teron back. Not as a financial exercise. As a mission. The full product catalog preserved. The customer history intact. The institutional knowledge transferred. The promise renewed.
“We didn’t start a lighting company. We finished one that deserved to survive.”
